Yudu?

Has any heard about this "personal screen printer" called the Yudu? My first thought when I read about it was "oooh!! A new Gocco!" but this contraption looks more like a scanner and supposedly you can print on both textiles and paper with it... Unfortunately I can't swing the $300 price tag to test drive one right now, but I'm definitely intrigued...

I first saw this on QVC--i got totally sucked into the segment. It hink it looks pretty awesome. The scanner bit is where you make your screens then you attach it to the blue bit and then you screen whatever.

I wish i had the 299$ for it. I think it looks pretty awesome minus limiting the size of the screens.

I'd be curious to see how it looks printed on paper. If it's any cheaper than using Gocco, I would probably try it out.

Design Mom did a review of this on her blog earlier this year. As I recall she was pleased overall. I was curious how well the ink held up when washing screen printed clothes, as I'd like to make labels for all of Treehouse Collective's vintage children's clothing. Let me know if you get a chance to try one out!
