Ever since we got the new car, it's been so tempting to take field trips out of the city! So the other day we took a trip to the Marin County Fair, where we spent a sunny afternoon checking out the carnival, the barnyard and the crafts pavilion, all while eating buckets of fair food (garlic fries! corn on the cob! churros!). In the evening we were treated to an awesome Joan Jett concert followed by a fireworks display over the lagoon. Delightful! (More pics here.)

Field Trips

totally awesome! I wanted to go so bad, but had a shoot so couldn't make it. we went a few years ago when joan was playing, and the rock + fireworks + rides + everything = super rad awesomeness.
