Lauren and I are huge fans of documentary film. And while Ken Burns doesn't exactly make the most cutting edge docs we've ever seen, they're still pretty amazing in that "I'm really glad I watched that. I now have a much greater appreciation of whatever insanely iconic American topic he's explored in 10 3-hour installments" way. We're especially excited about his next project which comes out in the Fall. It's called The National Parks: America's Best Idea. Some of you may know that our wedding had a National Park theme to it, and we just can't wait to see his patented slow-pan-of-an-old-picture shots of some of the amazing parks we visited on our honeymoon.May 09, 2009
