In my opinion, finding the perfect glue stick is similar to finding the perfect pen (mine is the Uni-Ball Vision Exact with the micro tip). Once you've found it, there is no turning back! I am a big fan of the Tombow gluestick, a Japanese product that somehow manages to glide on smoother than the rest, and is less prone to drying out. It also comes in different strengths, repositionable or permanent. And a quick glance at their website shows that you can also buy them in flavors, or "pretty fragrance", so you can enjoy the smell of grape or strawberry as you do your gluing. Pretty great!

Yesterday I was at the 'Everything's a Dollar' store (one that hasn't raised its prices and changed name to Everything's $1.50) and was about to buy some generic gluesticks.
then I recalled this post and thought to myself: There are gluesticks - and then there are gluesticks.
So I left the store and saved a dollar towards the purchase of a Tombow.
Thank you!
