Last night at the market I couldn't resist picking up a bag of walnuts, and I had fun making crafts out of the shells while our soup was simmering on the stove. We've been so busy with work the past couple weeks that I haven't been making much, so it was nice to bust out the ol' hot glue gun and take a little crafting break. Instant gratification!
I'm attempting to quit smoking and work in a drug rehab. 90% of the people here smoke and I work very long hours. Need busywork to keep my hands busy in lieu of smoking. Suggestions, please?
ReplyDeleteHi Gena. Well, I starting knitting a sweater right after Thanksgiving and my hands have been super busy ever since. I think a knitting or crocheting group would work wonders at replacing an unhealthy addiction with a creative and productive one!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! And super inspiring :) Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteWow! I just have discovered your blog and I love it!
ReplyDeleteLovely crafts!
