I posted this photo especially for John, who requested "more kid pictures!" Here I am at age 3, obviously quite proud of my trick-or-treating bonanza and about to devour this entire mountain of candy.

Before you got to dive into that mountain of candy, yo Momma had to take out a pack of m&m's and a mini Nestle's crunch bar for herself. Dad got the Bite-sized Sugar Daddies and there must be a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup somewhere in there...
Many little-kid-years ago, we woke up to suspicious crunching...the 2 big labs had eaten 3 bags 'o Halloween candy...bright pieces of chomped Jolly Ranchers were slobbered onto the rug, stuck fast, in dazzling jewel-like bits. Dogs were looking guilty...children sad, but luckily the best of the treats had been devoured immediately after trick-o-treating...and replacement Halloween candy at the store was 1/2 off!
