Zeppelin!!! Hands down! In my top 5 favorite bands of all time. If I could come back as anyone at anytime I would want to be Robert Plant in the heyday. 'Going to California'.. enough said.
The Doors. People choose Zep perhaps because they haven't advanced far from puberty and they enjoy simplistic blooze rock ripped off from the original blues artists. If you want music that is original, has a huge social and cultural impact on society, or that puts you in moods, or makes you think and ponder about our existence, then you naturally choose the Doors. It is not being "arty," it is being mature and intelligent.
